ON THE WAY TO SCHOOL

This is our 3rd term project for the English classes. We have leant about children around the world that make very long and dangerous trips to go to their schools. How lucky we are!!

We've watched some videos first.

And then, in groups we have worked with one of these dangerous routes. 

We have watched more videos about our concrete place, we have read some articles and we have made a poster to explain it. 

We have also compared their "daily adventures to go to school" with our "easy and comfortable" ones.

I’M A HAPPY PERSON

I’m a happy person for a lot of things: I have the best family of the planet; my brother is fantastic and my mother and father are amazing. I think that the happiness comes from the little things and if this day is not good the next sure is better than the other.

To be happy it  is not necessary to be the best of the class, or to be the most popular in the school or to be faster and more intelligent than the others. The things more important are the Little things, being healthy, having a family, money, food…

Every step of your life is very curios and funny. Many people think that money is your life, I mean, if you win the lottery you will be the happiest person in the world. But no, you will be happy, of course, but think, what do you prefer winning the lottery and being ill, don’t have family, people that love you and you love them… or having money but not a lot and being healthy have family? … I’m sure that everyone chooses the second option. So, the simple things are the true things that make you the happiest person in the universe. In summary, for being a happy person  the best is being healthy and having people that love you.

My best moments of my life are: when I get my diploma that say: you pass 6 of elementary and now you are in professional of piano and when I was 8 years old in Menorca my friends and the restaurant of the camping made me a surprise party.

The best moments of my brothers were when he passed the ESO and when he jumped in bungee jumping.

And the best moments of my parents were when they married and when they had sons: me and my brother.

I’M HAPPY

Happiness is a nice feeling of satisfaction and absence of suffering. Some terms that designate states of mind are like joy, happiness or well-being. Their opposites are sadness and grief. The word is closely linked to personal experiences. Most of as believe that the term happiness is well-being.

My family is very happy nowadays. We are always doing happy things together, like when the weekends we have dinner in some restaurants or spend the weekend in a hotel, etc. 

My father is very happy because of the job and the sport. My mother is very happy too, due to the job and family and my brothers are younger than me and happy, they are playing and laughing all the day, but I’m sure that I’m happier than my brothers.

I’m always happy, but I’m very, very happy when:

I do well at school, I make new friends, I take up a new sport, I help someone, I spend time with family, I’m going on a school trip the next day...

I’m rarely unhappy, only when:

My mobile is dead or when my parents say that I can’t have a sleepover with friends.

The funniest moment of my life was when Sergi Roberto scored the goal at the last minute of the match. It was two weeks ago. I was with my father and with Fransesc Figueres in Camp Nou. It was a Champions League match against PSG that we had lost the first leg 4-0 and we had to go back, so when Barça started winning the return  3-0 I thought it would be easy, then it was when PSG scored. They had to score three goals and there was no time. When we scored the 5-1 I was excited but not yet we spent to the next round. The last minute of the match we scored and we spent to next round through 6-1. I started to cry.
